Dear Juan,
how do you do? Hopefully your project is going on well and very succesfull. I am glad that my little biography about Viglius is still on your website; I do hope this contribution lived up to your expectations, or at least made a small contribution to your project. Now I have rather an odd question, which you should ignore if you cannot spare the time, but actually you are to only person I know who is able to do me this favour: I want to send a postcard with a text in Spanish, toWilliam, a Spanish waiter in BrasenoseCollege Oxford, who has been very kind during the time I stayed there. Could you possibly translate the following line for me in Spanish? "Dear William, thank you very much for the favour you did to Burkard and myself last week, so that we could dine in Hall together on my last evening in Brasenose. Bless you for having been so kind and friendly during my stay in Oxford. Many greetings from Justo" Please forgive me my forthrightness in this matter, but I would be very much obliged if you could find a moment to do me this favour, but otherways I would understand if you could not. With kind greetings, Joost Pikkemaat J.Pikkemaat@jur.kun.nl Nijmegen/Netherlands (viernes 8 de junio de 2001 11:07) |

Ok. Justo.
Here it is: "Estimado William (Guillermo). Muchas gracias por el favor que nos hizo a Burkard y a mí la semana pasada, para que pudiéramos cenar juntos en la sala en mi última tarde en Brasenose. Muchas gracias por su amistad y por haber sido tan amable durante mi estancia en Oxford. Muchos saludos de Justo" Adios Juanra > Invitado ha escrito: > Dear Juan, > > how do you do?
